It's all about the acquisition. Never question how much a stationery addict spends on their collections. That would be like asking them to put a price tag on their happiness. And that's just silly.
Harmony = Happiness
It’s safe to assume that if a person owns a lot of pens, they’re more than happy to lend any one of them to you.
If you agree with the above statement, we can’t be friends.
Hi, my name is Audrey and I’m a stationery addict. (To see if you are one too, check out my home-made, very legitimate, test here.)
While people go to Japan for the food, the Japanese hospitality, the cleanliness and for that picturesque landscape found on postcards (you know, the one where the squeaky clean bullet train is set against a backdrop of gorgeous cherry blossom trees lining the base of Mount Fuji), I on other hand, get all up in the stationery.
There's just something about finding myself standing in the middle of the stationery section and surrounded by a plethora of choices that makes me all giddy inside. All the different stationery types, brands, patterns, colours, sets, limited editions - I'm doing a little dance in my head just thinking about it!
You know that saying by Mahatma Ghandi?
Example:
My mind (what I think):
“Omg these pens are so pretty. I want the whole set.”
My words (what I say):
“OMG THESE PENS ARE SO PRETTY! I WANT THE WHOLE SET!”
My body (what I do):
[Picks up the best-looking box of pens, checks for any blemishes and carefully places them into the basket.]
See?
Harmony = Happiness
